There's plenty of the same off-the-wall madness in Da Vinci's Demons, writer-producer David S. Goyer's delirious TV drama that returns for a second season 9 p.m. Saturday on Starz.

Off-the-wall?

Saturday's episode opens atop Machu Picchu (in present-day Peru) where holy men in terrifying masks are preparing to decapitate Leo as a sacrifice to the Incan sun god. Huh?! OK, let's come back to that.

An interview with Tom, recorded at the British Museum in February, has been uploaded to You Tube by George Satsidis.

The first season found the genius inventor to be a cocky sort and one whose search for knowledge was almost artistic in its level of obsession, Riley says. "As a result, everyone around him would be collateral damage."

The next chapters in his life, however, find da Vinci's veering more toward the wise man of his later years and discovering that the negative influence he has on his friends is also a negative influence on himself.

The video interview with Tom and Laura Haddock, tweeted abut yesterday by Popsugar, has been shared online. Yahoo TV has shared hi-res versions of yesterday's arty photos. 

Some gorgeous (but small) behind the scenes photos, from the set of Da Vinci's Demons season 2, have been shared by USA Today. I hope bigger ones appear, so everyone can appreciate just how gorgeous and detailed the sets actually are.
